Une expansion triangulaire lui est reli\u00e9e, \u00e9galement creus\u00e9e d&rsquo;une cavit\u00e9 en continuit\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;une des pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Une seconde expansion, partiellement sectionn\u00e9e est visible en bas \u00e0 gauche.<br \/>\nLes cavit\u00e9s sont d\u00e9limit\u00e9es par une \u00e9paisse paroi, dont la structure est localement fibreuse.<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;organe ayant servi \u00e0 la confection de la coupe est constitu\u00e9 de quatre compartiments creux communiquant deux \u00e0 deux : une excroissance est en continuit\u00e9 avec un compartiment de la masse ovo\u00efde. Deux lames fibreuses sont pr\u00e9sentes \u00e0 la jonction entre deux compartiments en continuit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Un tel agencement est caract\u00e9ristique du <a href=\"\/codex\/glossaire\/glossaire-de-a-a-c#coeur\" target=\"_blank\">c\u0153ur<\/a> des Mammif\u00e8res coup\u00e9 longitudinalement, mais il existe \u00e9galement chez les Oiseaux.<\/p>\n<p>Les deux excroissances correspondent aux deux <a href=\"\/codex\/glossaire\/glossaire-de-i-a-o#oreillette\" target=\"_blank\">oreillettes<\/a> et les deux compartiments de la masse ovo\u00efde sont les deux <a href=\"\/codex\/glossaire\/glossaire-de-t-a-z#ventricule\" target=\"_blank\">ventricules<\/a>.<br \/>\nLe contenu compact des cavit\u00e9s est du sang.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le c\u0153ur des Mammif\u00e8res, oreillette et ventricule d&rsquo;un m\u00eame c\u00f4t\u00e9 (droite ou gauche) sont en continuit\u00e9. Les lames fibreuses situ\u00e9es \u00e0 la jonction entre les deux compartiments forment la valvule, ou valve, auriculoventriculaire. Ouverte, elle autorise le passage du sang de l&rsquo;oreillette au ventricule. Ferm\u00e9e, elle emp\u00eache le reflux du sang du ventricule \u00e0 l&rsquo;oreillette. Elle oriente le flux sanguin.<\/p>\n<p> &nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>La paroi des chambres cardiaques est \u00e9paisse et compacte. Elle est form\u00e9e du muscle cardiaque appel\u00e9 myocarde, correspondant \u00e0 du <a href=\"\/codex\/glossaire\/glossaire-de-t-a-z#tissu-musculaire\" target=\"_blank\">tissu musculaire<\/a> stri\u00e9 cardiaque.<br \/>\nConstitu\u00e9 de cellules allong\u00e9es, le myocarde se pr\u00e9sente tour \u00e0 tour sous forme de fibres sectionn\u00e9es longitudinalement apparaissant longues et \u00e9troites, obliquement ayant une forme effil\u00e9e et transversalement de section circulaire.<\/p>\n<p>Cette diversit\u00e9 r\u00e9sulte de la disposition spiral\u00e9e des fibres musculaires dans le myocarde.
