Ils couvrent presque totalement le dienc\u00e9phale et le m\u00e9senc\u00e9phale. <\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9gion ventrale du dienc\u00e9phale est repr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par l\u2019hypothalamus, qui forme les parois inf\u00e9rieure et lat\u00e9rales ainsi que le plancher du troisi\u00e8me ventricule. Elles sont group\u00e9es en amas ou en cordons entrent lesquels cheminent des vaisseaux sanguins. Une telle organisation est caract\u00e9ristique des glandes endocrines.<\/p>\n<p>Finalement, l&rsquo;hypophyse est un organe mixte dans lequel coexistent du tissu nerveux, constituant la neurohypophyse, et du tissu \u00e9pith\u00e9lial glandulaire, constituant l&rsquo;ad\u00e9nohypophyse.<br \/>\nLes deux r\u00e9gions sont accol\u00e9es mais \u00e9galement reli\u00e9es par l&rsquo;appareil circulatoire. L&rsquo;art\u00e8re hypophysaire sup\u00e9rieure irrigue l&rsquo;hypothalamus, dans lequel elle se ramifie en vaisseaux capillaires. Ils convergent en une veine gagnant l&rsquo;ad\u00e9nohypophyse o\u00f9 elle se ramifie en vaisseaux capillaires, convergeant en une veine hypophysaire.
