Elles sont en relation avec l&rsquo;air environnant gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des orifices, les stigmates. Localement elles portent des renflements appel\u00e9s sacs a\u00e9riens. <\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;appareil respiratoire trach\u00e9en est issu d&rsquo;une invagination de l&rsquo;ectoderme et sa lumi\u00e8re est bord\u00e9e d&rsquo;une fine cuticule. Il contient de l&rsquo;air, dont le dioxyg\u00e8ne est renouvel\u00e9 lorque les stigmates sont ouverts. Elles correspondent \u00e0 des sensilles, structures r\u00e9ceptrices superficielles. <\/p>\n<p>En l&rsquo;occurrence, les sensilles des ailes se pr\u00e9sentent comme des expansions de cuticule, les soies, dont la base est associ\u00e9e \u00e0 un groupe de cellules \u00e9pidermiques et une cellule nerveuse.<br \/>\nLorsque la soie est d\u00e9plac\u00e9e en raison d&rsquo;une action m\u00e9canique, la cellule nerveuse produit un influx nerveux.<br \/>\nLes soies sont des m\u00e9canor\u00e9cepteurs sensibles au d\u00e9placement de l&rsquo;air, en particulier au vent. <\/p>\n<p>De telles sensilles sont \u00e9galement distribu\u00e9es sur la t\u00eate et le thorax. Elles renseignent l\u2019organisme sur sa vitesse, sa direction et sa position pendant le vol. portant \u00e0 son extr\u00e9mit\u00e9 une sph\u00e8re.<br \/>\nElles se comportent comme des gyroscopes : leur axe conserve la m\u00eame direction malgr\u00e9 les changements de direction de l&rsquo;organisme.<br \/>\nDes sensilles m\u00e9canor\u00e9ceptrices en forme de cupules d\u00e9tectent les forces exerc\u00e9es sur les halt\u00e8res et renseignent l&rsquo;organisme sur sa direction.<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi de multiples sensilles m\u00e9canor\u00e9ceptrices, distribu\u00e9es sur les ailes comme sur les segments corporels, apportent des informations relatives aux param\u00e8tres
